While using my Lenovo Legion Y720 laptop today it turned off suddenly. I plugged it in and restarted it and was met with the blue screen. It then restarted and I was met with the black screen. Web1: Uninstall old driver with DDU in safe mode. 2: Run the installer , but paste the folder elsewhere. 3: Cancel the installation after extracting the folder. 4: Open device manager> Display adapters>Microsoft basic display adapter>Update driver>Choose the folder that was extracted from the installer>Next>Done.
