WebInstall the ferrule and tighten everything up by double wrapping with non-waxed dental floss. Pay special attention to the area where the threads butt up so there is no excess glue at that position. Pull the floss when dry, and clean up. I put the rod on a rod turner and used a 50:50 solution of varnish and thinner to reseal the wrap.
