WebFoxing is the age related browning, or brown-yellowish spots, that can occur to book paper over time. This is a chemical reaction and cannot spread to other books. I’ve restarted my collection of EP, some of them new, but a lot of them used, purchased in various stores and online. I’ve got EP from the 1970’s that look brand new 50 years later. WebThese days I tend to purchase hardcover titles as they are more durable and sturdy. I also enjoy the dust cover which can be removed when reading to avoid any damage. However, I’ve been seeing more print-on-demand books - especially from Oxford - when purchasing from retailers like Indigo Books (Canadian book retailer) or Amazon. WebI collect bindings, which are problematic re light, potential fading etc. But i like to have them out. Not for anyone else really, but me.
